Where Aesthetic Become Personal
My journey into aesthetics did not begin with beauty itself.
It began with a shift in perspective.
When I first read the book “Psychosomatic”, it introduced me to a deeper understanding , that what we see on the surface is often a reflection of what exists beneath it, within the mind.
With my interest in psychology and my experience in psychiatric settings, this idea did not remain theoretical.
It became something I began to observe, question, and explore in real human interactions.
Over time, through conversations, consultations, and repeated clinical encounters, I started to recognise patterns.
I realised that the feeling of beauty is not universal.
What makes one person feel confident, aligned, and “right” in their appearance can be completely different for someone else.
That was the turning point.
I stopped looking at aesthetics as a set of procedures,
and started to understand it as a process of identifying what truly creates a sense of beauty for each individual.
This understanding gradually reshaped the way I practice.
Rather than relying on standardised techniques, my focus shifted towards recognising each individual’s perception of beauty ,and then adapting technique accordingly.
Over time, this evolved into a structured approach.
A combination of observation, pattern recognition, and precise technical application.
The results went beyond physical changes.
Patients often experienced something deeper , a sense of alignment with themselves, a natural confidence, and a feeling of authenticity in how they appeared.
This is what ultimately led me into teaching.
For me, teaching is not simply about transferring technical skill.
It is about sharing a way of seeing , a way of understanding people before applying technique.
Perhaps that is why my relationship with this field has become something more personal.
It carries a sense of responsibility, and in many ways, something close to a nurturing, almost maternal perspective towards beauty.
